What do you blog about? I blog about yoga (my experience as both a teacher and a student of the practice), art (artists that I LOVE and my own experiences as an artist), creativity (anything and everything creative and wonderful!), mindfulness & learning how to relax, the "simple joys" in life, and my relationships (family, friends, and husband). How did you make the transition from working in a normal office job to becoming a yoga teacher, blogger, and painter? I want to make a similar change, but am not sure where to start. I receive this question so often that I decided to write a two-part series detailing my story, lessons learned, and some advice. You can read more here: Part 1 & Part 2. I also did a three-part series on the logistics and challenges of working for yourself:
Where do you find all of your yoga music? Lots of places, but primarily on Spotify and from my students (thank you!). I also love "borrowing" songs from other teachers. We all like to share! How do you make your yoga class playlists? Everything you need to know is here. Enjoy! Where do you teach? These days, only at Centerville Yoga & Wellness Center in Centerville, MA. How do I go about commissioning a painting? Click here for all of the juicy details, and here for a fun blog post full of lots of ideas about what type of paintings you can commission :) Do you sell your paintings or prints? Yes! Check out my available work in my Etsy shop. I think I want to take a yoga teacher training, but am not sure I'm ready. Can you give me some advice? I got this question so much, that I decided to write a post about it! Although I think the decision to take the plunge is a very personal one, here are my thoughts on the subject. Who designed your website/blog? I did! And I can do it for you, too! Visit the Starr Struck Design Studio site for more info. Do you teach private yoga classes or classes outside of studios? Yes :) For my rates and all other pertinent info, click here. |
