...can you guess from the collage above? This is from the announcement video that we sent my family, who couldn't come to our "Gender Reveal" party on Saturday night (due to the fact that they all live far away)... If you can't tell from the hint in the above images, let me spell it out for you: we're having a girl! At both our party this past weekend AND in our little video that we sent out, we had Sayde share the news with our families by leaving the room [or screen] and then coming back wearing a brand new pink collar. It was super fun to include her in the announcement and she *loved* being the center of attention ;) You can probably see it in our faces, but needless to say, we are over the moon about our little girl. Ben had a feeling she was a girl from the beginning; right when we found out I was pregnant he said, "I know it's a girl." At the time I said I agreed with him, but then I wasn't so sure as the pregnancy progressed and everyone told me what they thought I was having. It's funny, because before our ultrasound last week, we had narrowed it down to 3 girl names that we loved and 0 boy names (that we could agree on). Think that's a sign? I do. The last thing I want to show you--just because I think all my yogi readers will appreciate it--is one of my favorite images from last week's ultrasound. Our little girl is already doing yoga in the womb! Check out her plow pose (halasana) below: Ahhhh! It's all so crazy + amazing. Just a little over 20 weeks to go until we get to meet her! Thanks for sharing in the excitement ;) {Plow pose image credit: YogaBasics.com}
