![]() You all know how much I love "Top 10 lists," so I thought that today, I would share my Top 10 moments/memories/activities from the weekend. It felt like a long weekend, and somehow, it was a rare combination of moments that created the perfect balance of social activity, organization/productivity, and relaxation--and I just LOVE it when that happens! So, here are my Top 10, in no particular order (because that would make it too hard!)... 1. March Dinner Club Meeting at Cava Mezze in Clarendon. Yes, we are part of a "Dinner Club" that tries a new restaurant every month (it's SO much fun!). Yes, Cava Mezze is our newest favorite restaurant (it was our month to pick the restaurant!). And yes, I'll probably go back this week since my parents are coming in town... ;) 2. Sleeping until 11am on Saturday (I know!!!! First time in FOREVER! I did it on purpose and it was everything I thought it would be and more. Plus, I'm feeling a lot better now ;) Sleep = the BEST medicine. 3. Putting together my new April class playlist. Check it out here! 4. Finding THIS wedding on Style Me Pretty. SO much inspiration!
![]() 6. CrossFit DC Open Celebration & Cookout. Yesterday we had a big CFDC celebration to commemorate the end of The Open and how amazing our coaches are. It was so much fun to hang out with everybody outside of the gym and reminded me what an amazing group we have (and how much we can all eat together!). 7. Sitting on the balcony chatting and watching the sunset. Is there anything better? 8. Watching "The Announcement" (great ESPN film about Magic Johnson--who's idea do you think that was?) & snuggling with my honey on the couch. Enough said :) 9. 1 hr phone call with my brother, who I hadn't talked to in *quite* a while. It feels so nice to reconnect with family (which is why I'm SO excited that my Dad & Stepmom are coming in town tomorrow!). 10. Visit to The Apple Store to ogle my new dream laptop (and next big purchase, after the wedding...). Which one am I in love with? The new 11" MacBook Air. It's AMAZING. I'm also jonesing after an iPad, but want this little guy more...Apple, how do you have such a hold on me? So what were your Top 10 from the weekend? It can be really nice to reflect, as it allows you to feel a sense of gratitude for all that you're able to do and experience in just 1 little weekend. Namaste! Mary Catherine Comments are closed.
