I can't wait to see this movie. I heart Lake Bell and think it looks really good. Yay for a movie written, directed, produced, and starring the same woman! Go Lake!
Um, I want one of these human nests made by Jayson Fann. Beautiful tree houses for adults = total win. This is awesome: artist Breanne Trammell is traveling across the country in a compact trailer and giving out free manicures/nail art. Gotta love people who are living their dreams. I love these celebrity portraits made from scribbles. Pretty incredible! This post on yogadork made me smile--"To capture the moment or be in the moment?" Definitely something I've been ruminating on recently... I'm SUPER excited to be teaching my very first Hip Hop Yoga class at TSA on July 20th. It's basically my dream since I LOVE rap (always and forever) and LOVE yoga = perfect fit. Lose yourself in the music with me by signing up here. Reading "The 23 Worst Things About Living in NYC in the Summer" made me laugh. I totally remember experiencing each and every one of these disgusting things when I lived in Manhattan, but I still miss the city every day. It's worth it, trust me. And isn't this just totally awesome, too? A 72-year old blogger and her story. Oh, and here's her FABULOUS blog. She inspires me. I don't know why, but I kind of love the concept of "The Sandwich Book." People are interesting, aren't they? Have you signed up to receive my very first monthly newsletter on Monday? If not, sign up here. Oh, and please like Starr Struck on my new FB page if you haven't already! Thanksamillion ;) A coffee chain in Taiwan has started printing images of their customer's faces on the top of their lattes. Sounds to me like drinking it and losing the image may be a nice lesson on non-attachment (aparigraha)... Oh, and just a friendly reminder that Google Reader disappears on Monday (sigh). If you haven't found a new reader yet, I *highly* recommend Blog Lovin'. I've been using it for about a month now and have become a big fan. I think I even like it better than Google Reader (gasp--I know!). Also, in the signup process they have an option to simply import all of your Google Reader entries, so it's really easy. Check them out here (and follow Starr Struck on Blog Lovin' here). Have a beautiful weekend! 6/29/2013 03:01:15 pm
