Thank you, Emily Nussbaum, for your article about the cultural importance and relevance of "Sex and the City." Well-written, great points, and YES, YES, YES. I love SATC always + forever.
The Period Store = Awesome. Appreciated this article: I'm a Serious Yogi But I Still Do These 6 Things. Hooray for honesty and putting it all out there! I was honored to be featured in a Q&A on Kelly Loss' fabulous blog, Sweet Blue Sky, this week. You should definitely check out her new site--I painted her banner/header and it was so much fun to work with her :) Oh look, yoga is being touted for helping to save lives and money. Big surprise there... This week's interesting Barbie find: A take on a more realistic Barbie. What do you think? Finding Your Best Time for Creative Work = a great read for all my creatives, bloggers, and freelancers out there. Have you signed up to receive my monthly newsletter yet? If not, you should! My August newsletter will be going out on Thursday :) OMG, the Ostrich Pillow is hysterical. I kind of want one? I also want a chandelier tree (so dreamy!). These Book Titles With One Letter Missing are really silly but also pretty clever. They made me smile :) On a much more serious note, have you seen the video of the 11-year old Yemeni girl who ran away from home because her parents were trying to marry her off? It's very moving (sad) and eye-opening, and I'm amazed by her courage. It's definitely worth a watch. If you're looking for other ways to connect, I'd LOVE it if you would like Starr Struck's new Facebook page. More fun additions are coming to the page soon... Have a wonderful weekend!

I loved that article about Sex and the City too -- it was nice to some other show from HBO be recognized as groundbreaking besides the Sopranos!
