Over the weekend, in the midst of packing for our upcoming move (on our 1000th snow day of 2015), Ben and I made a little time to record this week's podcast. And of course, it was SO fun--we are simply LOVING this new medium! In this week's episode, we start with some follow-up from our last few episodes (including a few new morning routine tips!), and then we get into it, once again delving into a somewhat more personal topic about our relationship: why we've been feeling like “two ships passing in the night" as of late, and what we can do about it. In the first half of the episode, we share some background on our relationship and the scheduling challenges that we’re currently experiencing. In the second half of the episode, we discuss some ideas that we’ve come up with (and did not share with each other prior to this recording) in order to remedy this situation and spend more quality time together. Lastly, in response to this week's episode, we're looking some advice from our listeners [YOU!]! How do you make time to nurture your relationship when things get super busy? We'd love to hear! Share your advice via social media, by emailing me, and/or by commenting on this post. You can listen to the show below OR by downloading and/or subscribing in iTunes or Stitcher (be sure you search "Starr Struck Radio" if you're searching for it). If you have any questions about how to listen to the podcast, visit my recently created Podcast FAQs page. Similarly, if you want to rate us (which we would really appreciate!), directions can be found here.
As always, thanks for listening! We look forward to hearing your advice/feedback on this one...

This may give you an idea for your Sunday Funday. My boyfriend and I love exploring the Cape together. Last year during this time, we decided to try and see many of the lighthouses. We did this on Sundays and it was fun to plan out which ones we would visit as some are easy to get to and others are a little more challenging (a lot of walking involved). I didn't realize there were so many and they are SO pretty to see in the winter! This gave us time in the car to talk (we don't turn on the radio) and also to spend time walking and being outside. Some of my favorites - Highland Light in Truro, Three Sisters in Eastham and Stage Harbor Light in Chatham.

AMAZING idea, Kim! Thanks for sharing! Ben and I will have to add this to our list for after the move/once we're settled in... 2/18/2015 04:12:03 am
I can soooo relate with this podcast. This past Sunday we purchased a record player and listened to a bunch of old records. It was so fun reminiscing. Every day this week, as we are preparing breakfast I put on a record to enjoy.

I so recommend you two invest in a pair of snow shoes for your morning walks. I was listening to this podcast while I was snowshoeing this afternoon. :) Comments are closed.
