In this brand-spanking new season of Starr Struck Radio, the show is a-changing and it's becoming momma-fied (I know, I cringed when I wrote that but I couldn't help it!)!
As you know, Ben quit on me at the end of last season (lame!) but luckily I was able to talk my good friend, Starr Struck colleague, former SSR guest, and fellow mom (much more experienced mom, I should add), Sara Meeks to join me as my new co-host. Yay! So, this week's episode is our first of many mom-centric episodes in this new season of the show. Our goal for Season #4 is to share the anti-highlight reel/anti-Instagram version of being a mom. We think that being a parent leads to the best + hardest days of our lives, and we want to talk about the nitty gritty that goes into those days. Thus, in each episode of this season, Sara and I will have an honest conversation about a specific topic related to being a mom and will try our best to be as real and raw as possible (which won't always be pretty). But today’s episode is different from the rest of this season because instead of discussing a specific topic, we're introducing our mom-selves and giving you some background info about each of our lives and families so that you have some context for the topics that we’re going to tackle in future episodes. You can listen to this week's episode below OR by downloading and/or subscribing in iTunes or Stitcher (be sure you search "Starr Struck Radio").
As mentioned in the show, if you want to share #MOMFAIL to be read aloud on a future episode (we're happy to omit your name if you want us to, haha!), shoot me an email. And as promised, if we think your #momfail is grosser/worse than the one that I share at the end of this episode, I'll send you a free yoga tank ;)
Lastly, here's where you can connect with Sara online:
