Starr Struck Radio, Episode 30: Is Passion Overrated? {+ Listener Feedback and Follow-Ups!}11/3/2015
We've got lots to talk about in this week's episode. First, we get down to business by tackling some listener comments, feedback, and follow-up from our last two episodes (Morning Routines Revisited and Impostor Syndrome).
Then, in the second half of the show, we discuss the idea of “finding your passion” or “living your passion,” which we believe is a big theme for our generation. We get into some of the conversations and controversies that have been popping up online (and in our daily lives) around this concept, and share our thoughts on how passion relates to the work that we do and the lives that we create. You can listen to the episode below OR by downloading and/or subscribing in iTunes or Stitcher (be sure you search "Starr Struck Radio").
As promised, here are the articles that we reference in the show:
And here are links that I mention in the breaks:
Lastly, if you haven't already done so and you enjoy the show, will you subscribe to us in iTunes, rate us, and/or write a review? This is a HUGE help; how-to directions are here. You can view all Starr Struck Radio episodes and get answers to FAQs on the podcast homepage. Thanks!

Wow! This has become a thing! I appreciate your devoting a whole lot of time to my comment many months ago on morning routines. Sounds like others have also chimed in to defend us night people! Also glad someone pointed out the child issue. Because yeah, I would love to get up and meditate and do yoga or run before work but I have these two kids to have to get out the door to school in the morning. And when you have kids and they are up until 8:30 or 9:00 guess when the house gets cleaned and the extra work gets done, or like me the practice time gets done, after a full day of work? If Ben ever has kids, it will be interesting to see what happens his morning routine! :). And try as I may, the fact is I'm still more creative between 10 pm and 1 am than any other time of day. That's when my writing gets done. Now maybe I just made bad habits in college and never shook them. But if it works, why fight it? Lots of creatives (Yeah, I gues Im pretentious enough to call myself a creative too!) work at night either because they are busy during the day doing other things or because that's when we are feeling the muse. Oh, and I know I'm way behind on episodes, so no need to revisit this!! Comments are closed.
