This is it! Listener episode + Season 1 finale extravaganza!!
We've done 20 episodes and we're packing up for the summer so that we can free up a little space in our schedules. But does that mean that we won't miss recording + putting out this podcast every week? Absolutely not! However, if we want to make Season 2 better than ever, we need to take a little break to renew, refresh, + come up with more original content for you, so that's what we're doing. Here's a short summary of this week's episode/the Season 1 finale: If you've been a hardcore, devoted Starr Struck Radio listener this season, this episode is for you. We spend time discussing #firstworldproblems, chatting about what we learned from recording our first 20 episodes, revisiting some of Ben's most controversial claims, answering listener questions (thanks to all who sent them in!), and we finish with a final round of rapid-fire questions. You can listen to the episode below OR by downloading and/or subscribing in iTunes or Stitcher (be sure you search "Starr Struck Radio").
A *HUGE* thank you to everyone who supported us + listened this season! We have been overwhelmed with the love + support and can't believe so many of you tuned in to hear us chat.
We'll be back with Season 2 on September 1st, and are already excited about it. Until then, Starr Struck Radio-ers! [Unless you're a blog reader, too, and in that case, until tomorrow...] Oh, and last request for the season: Could you write us a review and/or rate us on iTunes or Stitcher? It would be a great help! Directions are here.

This episode had me laughing out loud! I kept feel self-conscious and imagining people were staring at me as I was cracking up while walking my dog!

No, Annie, there is NOTHING that Ben doesn't feel strongly about. Ha!

Great point, Gretchen! I think you may have hit the nail on the head! Will have to ask Ben what he thinks about this when I get back to the US...thanks for sharing your experience! xo 5/27/2015 08:52:12 pm
Awesome last episode for season 1! I'm so sad to see you guys take a break, but can't wait to see what season 2 brings.

I'm with Annie; people must've thought I was crazy as I listened on my walk this morning! I was grinning and chuckling the whole time, but when Ben did his Louis Armstrong impersonation I laughed so loudly I think I may have snorted! So funny! And I also laughed at myself because I got a dopamine hit from you mentioning my comment where I said I get a dopamine hit every time you post a new episode. It was a double-dopamine morning! :) You two are seriously the cutest and I love listening. I am now anxiously awaiting Sept. 1st! (although I worry Ben may delay you because it is before Labor Day...). Have a great summer!

So glad we [Ben] made you laugh, Denise! Yay! And no--I will NOT let Ben delay us! Sept 1st it is. ;)

Opinions lose any validity when one makes statements like "I don't want to know what pizza a vegan eats." At that point, ignorant rambling is the only result, which is not entertaining nor informative. So much for this episode.

Sorry this episode/Ben's ridiculousness when it comes to veganism upset you, RD! I assure you that that was not his intention--and he didn't mean it in a dismissive way, but I see how it could come across like that. As people who have listened to the entire season will know, Ben often makes grand, sweeping, opinionated statements, and then we back-up and try to help him see the light, but it doesn't always work ;)

This is hilarious. Mary Catherine is a consummate voice of reason. While Ben is the loose cannon...a funny loose cannon. Good combo. Comments are closed.
