As promised, today's Starr Struck Radio episode is the second half of our short, two-part miniseries focused on modern-day motherhood. Just like last week's episode, today's show consists of a conversation between me and one of my good friends, Erica, all about her experience being a mother (thus far).
Oh, and guess what? Erica is not only a new[ish] working mother, but she's also a therapist, which adds a bit of expertise to the show + topic (As opposed to our usual format, which consists of me and Ben just waxing on about what we think/feel/have experienced, without any actual training in many of the areas that we discuss). Here's a short description of the show: The second episode in a two-part miniseries exploring modern-day motherhood! In this short series, I’m talking with two different guests in two separate interviews about what it’s like to be a new (or new-ish) mother trying to find balance while exploring parental lifestyle + scheduling options. In this second interview, my dear friend, Erica, shares her experience becoming a full-time, working mom after giving birth to her first child 9 months ago. We discuss why it wasn't difficult for her to make the decision to keep working post-baby, how her life has changed since having a child, and her advice for other modern-day mothers (or future mothers) trying to figure out how to make it all work and find balance in their lives. You can listen to the show below OR by downloading and/or subscribing in iTunes or Stitcher.
Interested in the topic of motherhood, or parenthood in general? Here are two of our past episodes that get into it:
Also, if you're enjoying the show, would you do us a little favor and write a review in iTunes? It only takes about 2 minutes and is a BIG help! Directions on how to rate + review are here. And here are two more adorable pics of Erica and her daughter, Andie:
Thanks for being on the show, Erica (+ Andie)! If you're new to Starr Struck Radio, you can find the FAQs and learn how to listen here.
Thanks so much for tuning in, everyone!

Loving this mini series! I have a confession - I am only one dog walk thru this episode. But I wanted to comment before I forgot! Would Erica be willing to share more (perhaps privately) about her PCOS?

Great episode! Erica didn't mention if they have looked in to this or not, but we have lots of friends who starting when baby #2 came along have been hosting au pairs and are over the moon abut their experience. Please connect us if she is interested to learn more! I really enjoyed this series, you and your guests were lovely!
