It's been one of those weeks that just flies by...like when someone says "how has your week been?" I can't even think of what I've done this week because it's all been a blur. But, when I woke up this morning it was very easy to think back on all of the simple things that brought me joy this week, so that's a positive sign! As always, enjoy! ![]() Hear: "Forget You" by Cee Lo Green Although I just found out what the *real* word is where he says "forget" in the radio version (I know, I'm a bit of an old dork these days!), I still LOVE this song. I've been loving it for months now, which is surprising because you'd think I'd get sick of it after hearing it SO much on the radio--but it always make me so happy! Another one of those guilty pleasure songs that I just can't help but blast and dance along to every time I hear it. Listen to the family-friendly version (the one I prefer!) below: ![]() Taste: Kettle Valley Real Fruit Snacks I can't get enough of these fruit snacks. They're made with 100% real fruit, and there's an entire apple in every bar (you know that make's me happy!!!). They're a delicious and healthy sweet treat that you won't feel gross after eating--unless you eat too many, which I have to warn you will really tear up your stomach (too much of a good thing!). Not sure where you can buy them in person, but you can order them from Amazon in bulk so that you never run out... ![]() See: This adorable postcard sent to me by a friend who lives in India Isn't it amazing? It's "Dancing Ganesha" and I just LOVE it! Plus, it has a super-sweet message from my dear friend who sent it to me and it was just such a joy to receive. People don't send postcards much anymore, but they're so fun to find in your pile of otherwise totally boring mail. I love the vibrant colors used in this postcard, and it will definitely be framed/hung up in my apartment ASAP. I need to start sending more postcards! Thanks, sweet Amanda :) ![]() Touch: My new Nike Frees This is kind of cheating, since I already wrote a post about this earlier in the week, but these shoes have been a great addition to my life! They make it so much more comfortable to walk around town...so lightweight and carefree :) Read all about my Nike Frees here. ![]() Smell: Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dish Soap (Lavender) Who knew that dish soap could bring someone so much joy? We purchased this dish soap recently without even realizing that it was the same one that my parents use at home, so the first time I used it I was not only overwhelmed by the amazing scent, but also transported home, which is always a nice feeling. It's a bit more expensive than your normal dish soap, but the scent alone is enough to make it worth it (makes washing dishes a lot more enjoyable!). Plus, they use "earth-friendly" materials and no harsh chemicals :) What brought you simple joy this week?
