A few of the simple, sensory pleasures that brought me happiness this week... HEAR: MC Yogi + DJ Drez concert! As I already mentioned, I went to an MC Yogi + DJ Drez concert at Love Yoga Fest last weekend. What you don't know is that I was SO close to MC Yogi (front row!) that he gave me a high 5 and I could have stepped up onto the stage to dance with him if I had wanted to (some did but I was too nervous...). It was AMAZING. I danced like a maniac for the entire concert + was sweating up a storm and loved every minute of it. Here's a (non-live) song that he played at the concert: SEE: Tranquil Space students on the Cape :) I had three former students surprise me by coming to my classes here on the Cape this week! I think I've had about 6 former students come to my classes here this summer, and each time that a TS student walks into the studio it takes me a minute to orient myself (I think, 'Where am I? What's going on?') and then I get crazy excited to see them. It has been very special to live in a place where so many people from my past life come to visit... TASTE: Cape Cod Potato Chips I looked through about 30 bags of potato chips at the store, and these were the ONLY ones that didn't have any added sugar (I mean seriously, WTF!!?!?). I'm not usually a potato chip girl, but desperate elimination diets call for desperate measures. These chips were a delicious treat with my lunch yesterday ;) SMELL: Almond Butter I've always been a peanut butter girl--always--but for some reason, I've been really enjoying almond butter these days. I think I ate an apple with almond butter every single afternoon this week? Lerving it. TOUCH: Getting into bed on Sunday night I feel like I have never been as tired as I was when I got back from LYF on Sunday night. I mean, OMG. I crawled into bed around 8:45 and by the time Ben came in to get ready for bed--around 9, I was out cold. Bedtime never felt so good. What brought you joy this week? Hope you can find some time to reflect today... Have a fantabulous weekend, everyone! MC Yogi Pic photo credit: Love Yoga Fest
