Well, the summer has officially begun! And having my family here to celebrate and help us welcome the new season has been amazing. My brother, Peter, left yesterday, but my dad is still here through Sunday (hooray!) and my grandmother, great-aunt, aunt, and cousin arrive tomorrow (!). Crazy, huh? We're having a bit of an impromptu partial-family reunion here this week, and I love it. The past couple of days have been chock full of activities in the sun, and we plan to continue this summery tradition today. Just a few of the items we've crossed off of the list thus far? Yoga, tennis, long bike ride, hike, beach time (every day!), lots of meals out, ice cream, and more meals out. It's been a blast, but I have to say that I am very full and have a lot more freckles than I did last week ;) Here are a few pics that sum up the past 3 [gorgeous] summer days on the Cape... Above: The water was FREEZING but they got in! I did not because I hate being cold ;) Above: I call this our "family photo on the beach." As you can see, not everyone was as into it as I was... Above: Obligatory feet/knees on beach photo. Above: Dinner at Sesuit Harbor Cafe--thanks to all who recommended this place to me, it was PERFECT! Above: Sayde is a TOTAL beach dog! She was in heaven. Above: I'm obsessed with buoys. Above: Sleepy dog after a long hike on Great Island... How pretty is Cape Cod? I fall more in love with this place every day.
Oh, and please remember that life isn't just what you see captured in pictures on the blog/social media. Just a friendly reminder ;) Happy Summer, everyone! Comments are closed.
