As you probably already know, this past Sunday I was lucky enough to be a part of Dream Big Yogathon, a karma yoga event here on the Cape benefitting an amazing organization called Dream Day on Cape Cod (I won't go into it here since I've already filled you in on all of the deets about what they do). The event was a blast--it was beautiful, inspiring, exciting, moving, and powerful--but more importantly, we raised over $26,000 for Dream Day on Cape Cod. Can you believe it!? It's amazing what a small group of people with a common goal can achieve. That being said, our incredible photographer, Ashley Bilodeau, captured the day better than I ever could through words, so I wanted to share some of her amazing pics here. I hope you can feel the community love oozing through your computer screen...it was real, y'all! Also, one more BIG thanks to those of you who donated from afar. You have no idea how touched I was by your contributions. Above: Lululemon Derby Street brought a stretch limo full of donations from the Camp's Wish List. They also made a huge monetary donation. We are so grateful! Above: Our biggest fundraisier, Mark (raised over 6k!). | Below: Dream Big tank with the logo that I designed for the event ;) Above: The two masterminds who brought the event together! Jill Abraham, the owner of Power Yoga of Cape Cod (where I teach + the studio that put it on!) and Kathleen Giorgio, a PYCC teacher and the Executive Director of Dream Day!
What. An. Event. These are the types of things that make me feel SO grateful to have moved to the Cape. Such a vibrant yoga community here! I am so happy to be a part of it. |
