Okay, so here's a little warning: I'm going to indulge my crazy doggy-mommy side today...if you aren't as obsessed with dogs as I am, you may want to stop reading now. For the rest of you: Today is Sayde's official 2 year adoption anniversary! Two years ago today, Ben and I made the BEST decision of our relationship and drove to Maine to pick her up from a rest stop. [Haven't heard her story? You can read it here.] As I've said many times over, Sayde has changed our lives; Ben and I spend 99% of our time together talking about her, looking at her, and/or snuggling with her, and we simply cannot believe that she's ours. This year was a big year for Sayde, so instead of reminding you why you should rescue a dog (I've already shared the reasons here AND here), I thought I'd use this anniversary post to share some of the things she did (and learned or tried) in 2015:
...And there you have it!
What will 2016 hold for Sayde? Only time will tell...maybe she'll finally learn how to play nicely with other dogs...? Doubtful, but we'll keep on hoping! Want more Sayde? Here are a few other posts about her and how much we love her:
Thanks for indulging me + my love for rescue dogs!
