Of the many activities that often fill my "solopreneur" days, designing logos and website/blog headers is one of my favorites. It's so fun to work with someone to come up with a design that matches the message that they're trying to convey with their brand or site, and it feels wonderful when we come to that point where they say, "that's the one!" I adore pulling together color schemes, fonts, design maps, and other decor elements, and I love that every client I work with has a completely different aesthetic and vision. This makes the work much more challenging, and I have to say, I love being challenged when it comes to creativity ;) So, today I wanted to share some of my recent logo and design work with you. I've included a little note about each project (and a link, where applicable), so you can get a better idea of the context for each design... Above: A logo and blog header for a new (not-yet-launched) blog + website. This client found me through Etsy and she was a blast to work with because she knew exactly what she wanted ;) Above: A personal website logo for yoga teacher, studio owner, entrepreneur, speaker, and writer Tara Whitney. She's awesome! Check her out here. Above: A blog header for a recently-launched blog entitled Sweetly Seeking (obviously). This blog is written by the fabulous Sarah Dickey, a super inspired and passionate yoga teacher and healer. Check her out here. Above: T-shirt design for a high school church group's annual service week ;) The leader came to me knowing exactly what she wanted and it was a pleasure to help her out. Simple, cute and totally out of my normal scope so it was a fun way to mix it up. Above: T-shirt design for the friends of a yoga teacher who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Her fellow teachers and friends are all ordering this shirt (with her name on the back) to show their support and solidarity. I was so touched by this project and love what we came up with together. Above: Website header for Shayna Mahoney, a Cape Cod-based holistic health coach whose focus is helping women overcome depression and anxiety naturally. Also, she is the sweetest and is SO passionate about her work. Check her out here. Above: You probably already saw this logo here on the blog (or all over the Cape if you live here!), but just in case you missed it, it's the logo for a fabulous karma event that I was involved in back in September. It was amazing and I loved creating this sunny design for the event ;)
