Okay, so I just have to share a few things with you before we get lost in the holiday scramble. I know times are busy, but there's just so much to celebrate these days--in addition to the holidays--that I have to take some time to spread the word! Thanks for hanging in there with me and read on for my random tidbits... 1. Look! Tranquil Space Labs (and yours truly, with studio owner Kimberly Wilson) are featured in today'sExpress!!!! Check it out below and read the article here ;) 2. A BIG thank you to all who sent me *birthday wishes* via facebook, twitter, phone call, text, voicemail, in-person, and in-class :) I had an absolutely amazing birthday yesterday, including a surprise yoga + lunch ambush with two amazing women (ahem, Kimberly and Sara!), a dinner, tear-jerking card, and surprise candle-topped dessert at Chef Geoff's Downtown with Ben, and a trip to see Jersey Boys at the National Theater (btw, it was a blast and Ben and I sang the entire way home :) It was a fabulous day. A special thanks to all who shook up my routine and MADE me stop working and truly enjoy my birthday. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people. Sadly, here's the only pic I took on my birthday...at least I look happy (!!): 3. My dear second cousin, Nancy, is featured in this 10-minute documentary about finding her birth father and the experience of being adopted. It's a really great short film and is very beautifully done! The film also shows some amazing old family film footage, featuring both my Great Aunt and Grandmother :) Check it out below: 4. Lastly, I wanted to share this GREAT article on my student, Julie Fylgare's, blog. It's about her experience coming into crow pose last week (in my class, yay!), and it's wonderfully written. I was very moved by her writing and I think she captures the experience perfectly. Check out Julie's crow below, and read the article here :) See? Pretty fun but also totally random stuff. Thanks for indulging me! And thanks again for all your love, support, and bday wishes yesterday ;) Namaste! Mary Catherine Comments are closed.
