Oh you guys, I love Canada so much! I had no idea that it would be such a special place...for some reason I thought it would be just like the US, only colder, but it's not. The people here are the friendliest people I've ever met (what they say really is true!), it's super clean, green, and spacious, and in Whistler there's a very tangible laid-back, outdoorsy, West-coast vibe going on. I'm a fan, to say the least. Despite not being able to ski with my dad, brothers, and Ben (it's not safe for this pregnant gal who isn't a super experienced skier and would surely fall many times), I've had a wonderful few days away. I've gotten tons of sleep, eaten amazing food, enjoyed a prenatal massage, took a butt-kicking fitness class, popped in for a yoga class at a local studio, took a long, hot bath, put together most of our baby registry (!), and have obviously gotten to spend some great QT with my best boys--it's been lovely. So, as we gear up for our final afternoon/evening in Canada (and then an entire day of travel back home again tomorrow!), I'm doing my best to soak up the relaxed energy here so I can bring it home with me {lord knows we need more of this vibe on the East Coast of the US!}. I haven't taken nearly enough pics on this trip (I've been too busy enjoying it!), but here are a few snapshots from the past few days: Pretty, isn't it? ;)
I hope you're having a lovely week! I'll be back with you on Friday for #SJOTW... Comments are closed.
