![]() "Poppy" by Georgia O'Keefe Simply EXHAUSTED after my second day of Advanced Teacher Training, I thought it only appropriate that in my super-connected, totally-open, and sublimely-aware state-of-being (and yes, slightly delirious and sore all over, as well...), I should once again share a poem from the Zen Master himself, Thich Nhat Hahn. Because of my current state, I also have no choice but to share one of his poems about the inter-connectedness of everything, since it speaks the most to me at this time... So, read on for another very simple yet inspiring poem by Thich Nhat Hahn (and read here for one of my other favorites by him): You Are Me You are me and I am you. It is obvious that we are inter-are. You cultivate the flower in yourself so that I will be beautiful. I transform the garbage in myself so that you do not have to suffer. I support you you support me. I am here to bring you peace you are here to bring me joy. I LOVE the word "inter-are." Amazing. And such a great reminder. Now off to bed so that I can wake up and do it again tomorrow! Namaste, Mary Catherine Comments are closed.
