On Tuesday night we got another "blizzard." This one wasn't as bad as the last one (thank goodness!), but it still caused lots of cancelations, slippery roads, and the need for much plowing + snow shoveling. So, because I'm a big believer in yoga for every situation--every type of weather, every time, every place, every temperature--I thought I would share some of my favorite quick, yoga-inspired movements for those who need a little break from shoveling over the next couple of days. These movements can also be done with a rake, a broom, a garden shovel, or a hoe (I don't really know what that is, but I think it has a long handle?), and are meant to get you moving in way that doesn't involve being hunched over, repeating the exact same body mechanics over and over again. Oh, and before you watch it, I must say a few more things about this video:
That being said, I hope you all enjoyed your snow days! And don't forget to do some snowga as you shovel yourself out... *To ensure that you never miss a video, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel!
