I've been getting lots of requests for more sequencing-related videos, so I figured that an easy way to answer your requests would be to just share a portion of my class sequence for the week; I create a new sequence every Tuesday and Saturday, and am always trying to mix it up, so the hope is that by doing this, you might see something new [to you] or get a new idea for your own classes or practice. This week's video/sequence is the second standing flow in a class focused on upper backbending (with some outer hips thrown in!). I have two peak poses for the class--full dancer with a strap and wheel--although I do provide other options for those who can't take these deeper backbends. Tuesday nights class with the wheel pose was my favorite class so far! So much fun. I did wheel all day yesterday. :-) well as far as I could bend anyway.
