Standing split --> chaturanga? Oh yes. And it's a really fun, fairly basic transition once you get the hang of it. Want to try it out? Then here's what I suggest: put your mat on a carpeted floor OR double up on yoga mats (just for the first few times), make sure you're warmed up, and then watch this video and JUST DO IT! I promise, it's easier than it looks, it just takes a couple of tries to get your body in the right place in space. Landing kinda clunky? Yeah, me too.
