This week's episode of Mat Matters is all about twisting--how to do it safely, deeply, mindfully, and healthfully, so that you can get the most out of your yogic twists AND take care of your body at the same time (wouldn't that be nice?). As I mention in the video, I often see students forcing their bodies into twists, as opposed to taking them slowly and deepening them over time, so my hope is that the alignment cues discussed in this video prompt you to take a look at your twisting methods to make sure that they're going to benefit your body (and your practice) in the long-run. You can watch my latest how-to here on the blog (obvs!), or by subscribing to my new Starr Struck YouTube Channel. Happy twisting! Comments are closed.
