Oh my, look at these embroidered works of art by Sydney-based artist, Liz Payne! Don't you love them? And all of the tiny little stitches? Talk about a painstakingly slow process, huh?
But from what I can tell, it actually looks quite meditative and the final products are *totally* worth the effort. Also known as Flirting with Yellow (her Etsy shop's name), Liz Payne creates a wide variety of embroidered art using paint, thread, beads, and sequins. Her work is bright, cheery, textured, super fun, and I have to say, I'm LOVING her use of hot pink today. I feel like I need more hot pink in my life right now...? If you, too, need your daily dose of neon, you can view some images + details of Liz Payne's work below: Comments are closed.
