In celebration of the time change, and that fact that spring is almost here (and the fact that we've been having some 60-degree days lately--yay!), lets all take a look at the refreshing, relaxing, makes-me-want-to-sit-outside-and-sip-pink-lemonade-while-propping-my-feet-up-and-watching-the-sun-go-down paintings by the amazingly talented Cindy Rizza. As you can see from the image above, Rizza is one talented lady. Don't you feel like you could just step inside her painting and have a seat? Her work has a way of inviting you in and asking you to stay awhile, similar to my imaginary memories of growing up in the south (this didn't actually happen much there, although I wish it did!)... So pull up a chair and take a look, won't you? Can't you just feel the breeze, the light feel of the fabrics against your skin, the sun's heat? I can--and it's making me very excited about spring and summer :)
If you want to view more of Rizza's fabulous work, visit her website, here. Thanks to The Jealous Curator for sharing the Rizza (and "beautifully boring painting") love! Namaste, Mary Catherine
