Kate Lewis' art just makes me happy. The bright colors, the whimsical, everyday subject matter, and her loose, sketchy painting style all make for works of art that I want to be a part of--I want to sit in her chairs, eat at her tables, attend her parties, own her chandeliers. Her interiors are anything but boring, and no matter what the subject matter, her work feels festive and exciting. Plus, from reading Kate's blog I can tell that she's got a wonderfully sunny, upbeat attitude, which you can definitely feel emanating from her work. So refreshing. You can view some of Kate's colorful work below: See, don't you feel a little lighter now? I hope so.
Learn more about Kate Lewis by visiting her blog or her website. She's a very prolific painter, so I definitely recommend taking a look at all of her other work, too! I hope your day is colorful, bright, and cheery :) Comments are closed.
