When I recently stumbled across Anna Garforth's work, I was blown away. She's another amazing example of an artist using words to create--but, she's creating using a number of unique, non-traditional mediums. So, without further introduction, lets take a look at her impressive work... Example #1: Edible Poster. That's right...this is made out of cookie dough. See more images of this piece in-progress here. Example #2: Moss Writing. The first is entitled The New Economics, the second, Sporeborne. And yes, they're made of real moss! To see more images of these projects, click here. Example #3: Pollinate. A typeface that Garforth created using dried, pressed flowers. She says on her site that it was "inspired by spring" (not sure why the image is so blurry, sorry about that!). To view more of Garfoth's work and peruse her entire portfolio, visit her website, here.
Now doesn't that just make you want to get creative? I want a cookie poster, but not just to look at... ;) Namaste, Mary Catherine PS. For more of my favorite examples of artists who are using words to create, view this post. Comments are closed.
