One of the things that I dread most about traveling is motion sickness. Like, BLEH. I have always gotten headaches and nausea when in moving vehicles--usually when riding in cars--but over the past 10 years or so, flying has become my biggest nemesis.
The problem with this? I love to travel and I travel somewhat often. However, every time that I do, I feel sick for a couple of hours after the flight; There have even been times when I've gotten off of the plane and had to just sit on a bench for about 30 minutes before getting into a car or onto a bus or train to make my way to my final destination. This = No bueno, especially when you have places to go and people to see! Motion sickness medications have helped, but I can't stand how drowsy and woozy they make me feel. Enter Dramamine® Non-Drowsy Naturals--the first non-drowsy natural solution for motion sickness. {Hooray!} Last week, as a part of my travels to Costa Rica, I took the Dramamine® Non-Drowsy Naturals No More Missed Moments Challenge, and decided to put this new product to the test on my super long flights to and from Costa Rica. Guess what? It was one of the first times that I haven't felt *really* sick when traveling in a very long time! And I was able to stay awake and read/work during both of my flights! Plus, when I arrived in Costa Rica, I was able to hop right onto Pura Vida's shuttle and travel up the windy roads to our resort (looking out the window the entire time!), without ever having to take a break to give myself time to feel better. It was a Christmas miracle ;)
Over half of women suffer from motion sickness (!) and as a result, miss out on things that they would otherwise love to do, like boat trips, amusement park rides, and road trips with friends. Again, this is no bueno, so it's great that there's a new non-drowsy natural solution for us.
Haven't heard of Dramamine® Non-Drowsy Naturals? Its contains the clinically tested ginger dosage required for preventing and treating motion sickness, unlike many other sources of ginger that motion sickness sufferers frequently try, like ginger ale, candies and gums. It also helps prevent and relieve motion sickness symptoms like nausea and vomiting, which products like antacids and upset stomach relievers do not. And since it’s made from natural ginger, it is safe to use every day you travel. {For a ginger lover like me, it's perfect!} I can't wait to take Dramamine's No More Missed Moments Challenge again when I travel to Peru next month...
Happy trails to you!
