Well folks, although we're completely wedding-ed out already (um, yeah), Ben and I have taken the plunge and booked a venue for our October, 2012 nuptials. As I've promised many times, this will not become a wedding-planning blog, but because I keep getting questions about it and because I am excited by the location, I thought I would share just a few shots of the place that we've chosen. The cool part about it? It's within walking distance of my parents' house in Atlanta. It's called the Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center and I think it's just a magical place--I've even heard it called the "secret garden" of Atlanta. A few shots (taken from their facebook page) are below: I know, I know. So many questions with an outdoor wedding, right? What if it rains? What if it's cold? We will have a number of back-up plans, and luckily the location comes with a beautiful tent and a large building (the atrium, pictured above) in case of inclement weather. I'm not worried--we'll make it work! This event is going to be as stress-free as possible. I promise. And that's all the wedding planning that we've done! October marks 1 year out, so at some point in the near future we'll start getting things going, but right now we both feel like we deserve a little wedding break :) Namaste, Mary Catherine Comments are closed.
