Although as a total Christmas girl, I'm partial to real, live Christmas trees, I do think that there's some beauty (and definitely some creativity/fun) in coming up with an alternative, more sustainable Christmas tree option during the holiday season. So, today, I wanted to share some of the amazing ideas for alternative Christmas trees that are out there on the interwebs--great ideas for those of you who haven't yet picked up a tree, or for those looking to do something different next year (or even create a second, decorative tree in your house this year!). Here are some of my favorite whimsical creations... 1. Trees made of objects hung on a wall: 2. Hand-drawn trees (chalkboard and kraft paper): 3. Dress Form Trees: 4. Trees made of books (one of my personal favorites!): 5. Wooden trees: 6. Trees made of lights: 7. CrossFit equipment trees (I couldn't resist!): Fun, aren't they? Maybe next year we'll have two trees--one creative one, and one little real one ;)
I hope you're getting into the holiday spirit as much as I am! It can be such a beautiful time of year, as long as you can remember what's important... Namaste, Mary Catherine Comments are closed.
