I have really loved this summer. It's been a wonderfully spacious one for me, and although it feels like it went by super quickly (as life always does), it was also luxurious, full, and really enjoyable at the same time.
Thus, since I'm kind of in mourning about summer being officially over, and since I've adored this summer so much, I decided to make a list of all of the things that I dislike about summer (FYI, they are all #firstworldproblems). I know that this blog is usually a fairly positive one, but I think that it's important to mix it up every once in a while, and today, I just want get negative ;) Think of this list as being similar to one that you would make after being dumped by a guy/girl you liked--"I'm better off without him/her, anyways, and here's why!" Sometimes, in order to make yourself feel better, you have to play mind games with yourself. Totally normal, right? Thus, here are 15 things that we can look forward to not having to deal with anymore, as the weather changes and fall slowly enters the picture. I know we still have a few more weeks of summer weather left, but hopefully this list will make us all feel a little better about the passage of time (and temperature)... 15 Things I Won’t Miss About Summer
Do you feel better now? I do. Almost better than I would have felt if I had just made a list of all of the things that I'm looking forward to about fall. But that wouldn't have been as much fun, now would it? I think a girl's got a right to be negative every once in a while ;) So what will you NOT miss about summer? What am I forgetting? We can talk about all of the wonders of fall in another post... [And I'll get back to being positive tomorrow.] Hope you had a fabulous Labor Day!

I am with you on a lot of these (especially the mosquitoes...I also get eaten alive. No bueno). As much fun as summer can be, I can't wait for fall. It's definitely my favorite season!

I actually think this is a pretty positive post :)! I was feeling down about the end of summer and this helped me remember some of the things I won't miss! I will not miss feeling sticky simply from walking to and from work. I also will welcome the return of red wine (I tend to drink white in the summer simply because I often want something cold to drink ... talk about a first world issue...). Comments are closed.
