As you can see from the image above, she is a master at painting the human figure into a background, mimicking the wallpaper or patterns behind them, until they become camouflaged enough that their form becomes difficult to detect. Despite the colorful, cheery, often busy wallpaper, I find these images to hold a heaviness, a sadness in some cases, that make them very complex and much more interesting to look at.
This is the kind of work that you just have to see to understand.
