I've just finished two fun new paintings! As you can see, I'm on a little bit of a yoga/mixed-media/illustration kick lately, which is totally different from most of the work I've done in the past. But for now, I'm just enjoying playing, feeling carefree, and using fun, girly colors and simple lines. What can I say? It makes me happy ;)

You can see a couple of the stages of the creation process below, starting with the "blank canvases" above and ending with the final products at the bottom:
Fun, aren't they? You can pick up a print of either piece here

In other news, my greeting cards are now available in the Tranquil Space boutiques and in my Etsy shop! They can be purchased individually for $4.75 or in a 10-pack for $30.

Here's a pic of them displayed at TSA:
Thanks for being a part of my creative journey!

Namaste,
Mary Catherine

The Yaga-asana paintings are very great and interesting. I had sudden insight into a Vibrant portrayal of Damayanti by painter Raja Ravi Verma, 1848AD. I found these paints has more information then what they directly convey.
My new interest is Yoga, being a Hindu born, I share my knowledge with my presentation.
