One thing that I want you all to know about my "Love This!" posts, is that I would never post anything that I honestly wouldn't want to buy--or look at every single day--if I had enough money to do so ;)  Therefore, today's artist is a perfect example of this. I want one! Most of her work sells for a couple thousand dollars a piece, so alas, I'll have to wait until I'm old and rich (or at least not planning a wedding!) to buy one, but until then, I'll just gaze longingly at the images, and post them to my blog... ;)

Anywho, what I love most about Holly Farrell's work (below) is that it is completely simple. Mundane. Some might even call it boring. But then, it's not! It's absolutely gorgeous. I love her color palette (I LOVE colorful items on a stark white, or very neutral background), love her subject matter, and love her composition. Yes, I love her work! Take a look below and see if you agree with me...
Do you see why I love it? Vintage books, lonely furniture, and the bowties...? Amazing. I think it's simply brilliant when an artist creates something beautiful by presenting the mundane objects of our daily life in a different light.

You can view more of Farell's work on her website, here.

A great example of how we can find beauty everywhere, if we only pause to look around...

Namaste!
Mary Catherine
