Normally, I'm not someone who likes too much change, but sometimes it just makes sense. So, as Ben spent his weekend jaunting around Cape Cod and dancing his face off at a bachelor party, I was at home, working into the wee hours of the night making changes to my blog, website, and all things Starr Struck (hehe!). He should go out of town for the weekend more often--I'm SO much more productive when he's not around ;)

So anyways, to avoid confusion, I want to clarify the main change that I made this past weekend. If you haven't already noticed, I've changed the Starr Struck address to my main site homepage address. Yes, this should make things easier for you! Now all you have to do to visit my blog is type in marycatherinestarr.com. Easier to remember, easier to access, easier for me to manage :) If you have any feedback about this change--or any ideas on how I can make my blog even more accessible or user-friendly, please let me know! Similarly, if there's a topic or post that you'd like to see more of, or hear more about, let me know! What post categories are your favorites? What posts do you like least? Please do share if you have a preference.

Going along with this, today is the "Grand Opening" of my Etsy shop, Starr Struck Studio (a few sample items are copied below)! To celebrate, I've created a special coupon code just for my blog readers...now through the end of August, use the code BLOGTASTIC at checkout to receive 10% off of your total purchase. Yay for sales!

Although the shop currently has a smallish amount of inventory, I'll be adding some brand-spanking new watercolor pieces by the end of the month, so stay posted for some fun, more-affordable and ready-to-hang pieces of original art :) For all of my friends who are already on Etsy, let me know so that we can connect! There's also a link to my Etsy shop on my blog sidebar now, just in case you want to visit again later...

Fun, right? Thanks so much to all of you who have been reading over the past 5 months of Starr Struck's existence. I can't believe it's already been this long!?! Does this mean that I'm actually a "blogger" now? Kewl... ;)

Happy Monday!

Namaste,
Mary Catherine

This is my first time i visit here. I found so many entertaining stuff in your blog, particularly its discussion. From the heaps of comments on your articles, i assume i am not the sole one having all the enjoyment here! keep up the nice work.

Try asking around for voluteers to donate use of their cameras and/ or time to help filming. We had plenty of footage this way to edit, especially if, like ours, you can film more than one show.
